Overview

This chapter shows how to setup the instrument and perform basic line sweep measurements.

Note	Confirm that the instrument is in Cable & Antenna Analyzer mode. Refer to “General Measurement Setups”.

For accurate results, the instrument must be calibrated before making any measurements.

The instrument must be re-calibrated whenever the temperature exceeds the calibration temperature range or when the test port extension cable is removed or replaced. Unless the calibration type is Flexcal, the instrument must also be re-calibrated every time the setup frequency changes. See “Calibration” for details on how to perform a calibration.
