To determine the current Spectrum Analyzer firmware version of your instrument, use the following procedure:

2. Press the Status submenu key.
3. The Spectrum Analyzer firmware is shown in the Status list box as SPA Version = v#.##, where #.## represents numerals, such as 5.34.
4. Press the Esc key to exit from the Status list box.Two different Spectrum Analyzer Measurement Guides describe the Spectrum Analyzer operation. Check the SPA firmware version number, then consult Measurement Guidesto find the correct Measurement guide for your instrument.The Spectrum Master menu‑driven interface is easy to use and requires little training. The 5 Main Menu keys are located below the measurement display. These 5 keys are used to list function‑specific menus in the active menu (submenu labels). These Main Menu keys vary in function based on the selected mode of operation (Shift, Mode (9)). Refer to “Mode Selector Menu” on page 1‑6 for more information on changing the instrument mode. Table 1‑1 lists the Main Menu Key labels for each mode of instrument operation.
