Instrument Care and Preventive Maintenance
The MG362x1A signal generator care and preventive maintenance consists of cleaning the unit and inspecting and cleaning the RF connectors on the instrument and all accessories. Clean the signal generator with a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with water or water and a mild cleaning solution.
Caution 
To avoid damaging the display or covers, do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.
Cleaning the Fan Grill
The signal generator must always receive adequate ventilation. A blocked fan grill can cause the instrument to overheat and shut down. Clean the fans as follows:
1. Disconnect the MG362x1A from the power source.
2. Carefully vacuum the fan filters from the outside to clean them.

Power Output
The MG362x1A is capable of output power levels in excess of +30 dBm. Ensure that proper care is taken to protect sensitive power sensors from being damaged by using a fixed attenuator.
