Table: Modulation Command List lists the modulation command mnemonic codes. These commands provide for ΦM and pulse modulation of the signal generator’s output signal using modulating signals from the ΦM, pulse generators, or an external source.

Narrow and Wide ΦM modes are available. In Narrow ΦM mode, the maximum ΦM deviation is the lesser of ±3 radians or ±5 MHz/rate for DC to 8 MHz rates. In Wide ΦM mode, the maximum ΦM deviation is the lesser of ±400 radians or ±10 MHz/rate for DC to 1 MHz rates.
