Software Update
To update the MS27201A ARRT software, use a high quality USB memory device with at least 1 GB of memory space and FAT32 file system format, and follow the instructions below:
1. Insert the USB memory device into your PC or laptop.
2. From a browser, go to the following Anritsu products page:
http://www.anritsu.com/en-US/test-measurement/products/ms2720xa
3. On the product page, click Downloads and select Drivers/Firmware/Software.
4. Select the software update for your product and download it to the USB memory device.
5. Insert the USB memory device into the one of the MS27201A USB ports.
Installing the Software
1. Start the software update via one of the two ways below (see Figure: Updating the Software):
• Access the upper left System Menu (3-line icon), then Select SYSTEM INFORMATION > SOFTWARE UPDATE.
• Select the software update icon on the Selecting the Analyzer.
2. Select the latest available update from the drop-down selections and Select Install.
• A dialog will appear stating Software Update in Progress.
3. When the installation is complete, see Verify the Software Update.
Updating the Software
 
Note 
You can connect to a different instrument or update the existing Hostname/IP address by clicking system menu icon on the top.
Verify the Software Update
1. Once the software update is complete, power off the MS27201A.
2. Power on the MS27201A.
3. Select the System menu icon (3-line icon) from the MS27201A to display the System Menu.
4. Select the System Information menu (see Figure: System Information Menu).
5. Verify the Software Package Version displayed is the most current version installed.
