Load Data Files to a Folder
Import trace data files from an instrument using the Anritsu Remote Tools program to analyze using the Anritsu Report Tool program.
1. Create a file folder location to store an instruments trace data files on your PC.
2. Refer to Anritsu Remote Tool Program.
3. Determine the instruments IP address of the Anritsu instrument by accessing the Anritsu Remote Tool program menu. When in the System menu, the IP address of the instrument is in Connectivity information. Refer to Remote Instrument System Information.
4. Use an Ethernet cable to download .fmcaausb and .smcaa trace data files from the measuring instrument to the folder created in Step 1 on your PC. An example of a folder with trace data files is shown in Figure: Trace Data Files Folder.
5. Press the open measurement icon in the Toolbar to download and analyze the stored trace data files using the Anritsu Report Tool program shown in Figure: Anritsu Report Tools User Interface.

Open Measurement
Open a data file from the trace data file folder.
1. Click the open measurement icon in the Toolbar.
2. Browse to the trace data files folder created in Step 1 of Load Data Files to a Folder.
3. Click a file to view on the screen. Several files can be selected to view. The trace data file will display on the screen as shown in Active Marker Screen.
