Setting Limit Lines
Use Limit lines to analyze measured trace data against specifications or expectations. Limit lines can be created to compare trace data to your defined limits and indicate a pass or fail condition. The limit line types Single and Segmented.
Single Limit Line: Use single limit lines to set upper and lower limits of a trace display. Set maximum and minimum indicators for the value of displayed data on a per-trace basis. To set single limit lines, see Single Limit Line Mode.
Segmented Limit Line: Use segmented limit lines to analyze trace data split spec considerations. Set maximum and minimum segment lines for the value of displayed data on a per-segment basis. To set segmented limit lines, see Set as Single or Segmented Limit Line.
The Single Limit Line screen is shown in Figure: Limits Menu.
